1st...Free swimming for over 60`s by 2012....
http://news.aol.co.uk/labours-fre...-60s/article/20080605223709990010
which i find brillient for those thousends of pennyless over 6o`s who will want to use our new lifestyles pools....
They will be waiting for the doors to open each day..........
The down side is the much hoped for revenue to pay the burden of the privilidged few for using the new lifestyles, will go out the window it may seem...
Still, by then, a newly elected bunch at Town Hall will be holding the rains oh so tighter.............just wait and see.........lol..
2nd... yesterday in Town centre, i saw 4 men in vans removing the "new" fountain water features motor and pump........fritzed it was....
So, as our water feature does not run in the 6 or so winter months, the pump has had about, say 6 months worth of pushing H2O upwards, but now its bugg*rd.........
Just add the new pumps cost onto Jaywicks regeneration money, along with the men in vans, the yellow painted lifting crane, the safety fencing erected around said hole in the ground (ex victorian pissiour) and everyone was smiling about it all...
Money for old rope it seems............................BUT...
ITS JAYWICKS REGENERATION MONEY............
IT SEEMS...................AGAIN...............
I wonder what IN-Tend IN-Tend doing about it, or is it IN-Tendtionaly IN-Tended.............lol...
Funny though, intend:- propose, mean to do, say etc.
intended:- planned future - proposed spouse.........
Perhaps that was the intention, to marry TDC to Project Tendering/Tendring Regeneration / IN-Tend.........
Oh well, never a dull day goes by..................lol.

They keep telling us that this Vicky pissoir is a good thing Ivan so any suggestions as to which other settlements should be blessed with such a thing, are there any posh areas of Clacton, I wonder which posh area would enjoy a pissoir?

Must admit one or two Cllrs of these loca`lls should not walk under venetion bridges while bladder full objectors stood overhead of them..
The terrible thoughts of just letting go while nasty nick types ambled underneath bring the sly corners of my mouth into a smerk like grin........
Umberellas for local councillors are a must have amenity.....

| Youre post, Ivan, has an almost Shakespearian feel to it, poetic justice indeed. |
