The coastal renaissance board met for the 1st time on monday afternoon.
Among different ideas mooted,
upgrade the A133 from Colchester to Clacton.
plus **increase affordable housing in JAYWICK*
Other projects in JAYWICK and WALTON were mentioned
"after" the meeting!
It was said that Lord Hanningfield remarked:-
"we want to work with the people of JAYWICK to improve their facilities"
***"we are NOT looking to move people OUT of Jaywick,
but they could have "other" housing in the area***
"it will take some years to totaly resolve the problems we face,
but lets hope we can get things going through ***2010***"
For those that know of my personal involvement in community meetings, TDC`s/ E C C`s various plans-meetings, talks, promises, whatever,
I have always refured to my "blue faced book"
