Our crime reduction unit at Clactons Police station have leaflets available to combat wanton waste by criminal damage.
The Gazette published an article about it.
"Essex Police's crime reduction officer, Calvin Heal, said: "Criminal damage accounts for a huge proportion of all the crimes committed in the Tendring area and the cost of this vandalism is borne by all of us."

Does this criminal damage include wanton waste of public purse by any one member of TDC.
If so, 2nd year term of office (all stand for the King) Mayor Terry Allen, must surely put himself in the frame for the most wanton waste of public purse money this century, by allowing HUGE edifices to be built in his honour, your honour....
Send him down, is what i would say........for criminal damage to our pockets....

I know you said all that with your tongue in cheek Ivan, but you have a very good point, when are people who have arranged public money into an order that amounts to disorder going to be questioned?

Any little kid that pinches chocky bars from Woolies would get his shoulder felt.

I think that this is what Douglas Carswell is hoping to achieve with his new found movement against "wrong doing"

The trouble is, the man on the street can only shout so loud, two things then may happen.
1 he is listened to, and hopefully its acted upon.
or,
2 he is treated as a "trouble maker" and shunned, with no-one listening to him..

The more a central -one true voice- is heard, the more its listened to (so i belive)

but, something is very - very not quite right in places of power within TDC ranks.

This something not quite right is now beeing seen by "others" and its begining to worry the life out of the "others"..

In a school playground, or any small group, you will get those that force issues.

In the real world, they are called dictators, in school they are called bullies.

A dictator will dictate to all before him, with various forms of punishments to those who oppose him, for those that please him, are gifted great promises..

But one day, it all ends with a bang...

Our communities believed it was sorted with TDC`s bullies being "locked out" of office, but returned with a false name in a wooden horse to try old playground tricks upon wary voters yet once more.

Some prospered in some ways, some not so lucky.

One indevidual, who was shunned by his local residents in voting,  polished up his jack boots so shiny it impressed his backers so much, they gave him not just one bite of the golden apple, but two bites of the golden apple.

In childrens fairy tales of fantasy, the wicked witch poisened a nice rosy red apple, to try and catch out the unsuspecting nice people before her, and in the fairy tales it seems to have worked.
Just like the tales of fantasy, in the end, the good prince came to the rescue...

Now where did i put that nice but deadly red apple........lol....
