OK so I like to be the optimistic one! Smile

But as we are gathering don'ts I thought a couple of do's would be a good idea;

Do eat your 5 helpings a day of fresh fruit and veg.

Do try to make sure you eat no later than 6 in the evening. It helps digestion to eat your evening meal earleir.

Do take breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day

Do eat oatmeal porridge at breakfast (hot or cold).

Organic oats make a great breakfast. Add a bit of water and put inthe fridge overnight, then add more water in the morning and eat. You can cook it, and you can add milk. But it's great with just water. I add a few grapes and honey too!!

Do use honey instead of sugar whenever possible

Do use brown sugar instead of white (Coop do an organic brown sugar)

Do try Mukatavati for Hgh Blood Pressure. It really can lower your blood pressure naturally and you won't need beta blockers or calcium blockers afterwards either.

Mukta Vati is Ayurvedic medicine from India and tried and tested for centuries in Asia. You only need one course and it cures High Blood pressure...None of this pills for life busines the NHS are so keen on.

Do drink plenty of water and drinking tea and coffee is not the same thing. It has to be water. Beverages can act as mild diuretics and dehydrate your body rather than replenisheing the fluid.

I'll put soem don'ts up as well Smile

Me too, but I have about 6 of them all together. Laughing I am finding as soon as it gets dark in the afternoon my brain decides that its the perfect time to get tired. Its hell if we are watching a film as I just end up falling asleep in the middle.

Admin,
I suppose I might have asked, what pattern do you give to the selection of your daily five fruits or vegatables chosen from your aggregated list of favourites, further, to what extent is it dependant on their health giving characteristics and how is the foregoing complicated by the various seasonable relationships and combinations of flavours, colours, weights and volumes?
Yeah alright, I should never have asked, chuckle, chuckle.

I have heard when one is asleep the brain can enjoy the film just the same, at least that's what I'd like to believe.

I get plenty of fruit and veg. I soak a good variety of pulses with a pinch of bicarbonate of smile. This helps soften them and they cook quicker. Then I cook loads of different vegies. Do not over cook. Liquidise the lot and this can be eaten as a thick soup on it's own. All good things are in it.
Fresh is best but I find it helpful to freeze it in batches.
For my fruit I cut up as many as 7 assorted fruites in a bowl with some Swedish Glase ice cream which is non dairy or sheeps yogurt.
Then I have the odd salad too.

Forgot a most important thing, drink loads of water, just plain old water. Very easy to get dehydrated and not realise it, results in headaches among other troubles.
