Does Walton need to survive is a better description..
Ok, Walton..
I rather like Walton in a small town kinda way, its beginning to look more attractive with its pedestrianised centre, even Clacton could have used this idea to better effect, rather than ban vehicles (except bloody big smelly non - conforming-non acceptable to Londons Low Emission Zone areas old polluting, shelf sold by date busses)....phew, i`ll take it i dont like "Some" of them then.. .....
Yes, Walton is going that extra mile to change for the better i think.
As a family we never use the Columbine Centre, except the outside green fields on Classic Vehicle days, but we use the tea hut next to the beach by the traffic lights, for our regular bike ride outs.
We also use the tea rooms by the Tower.
We also use the tea hut on the cliff part (forget its name)...lol.
We drink lots of tea... ..ha..ha..ha..
My grandaughter just loves Walton pier more than Clactons, dont know why..ask her i suppose...
Ok, new building development along the seafront is inevitable (its in the local plan)
you have to look foreward in life, but its nice to look back at what you remember too.....
