At least 7 car parks spread over the Town Center.
Easy access by bus, train or coach,
even easier if you live local, you can walk or cycle,
they even encourage you to cycle into Town Center.
Its got shopping malls, bargain shops, butchers, bakers and candle stick makers.
Its NOT got hardly any charity shops either, not that they are a bad thing, but just how many can 1 town center really need.
So, just where is this world famouse Town Center shopping experiance,
ROMFORD...
IF you love shopping, thats the place to go, IF you want to park easier.
If you dont want to drive, trains go door to door,
so do National Express coaches.....
While our town center just gets worse, with lost ideas, lost parking spaces.
Sometimes you feel that our Town Leaders, Managers, and Planners,
should all get on a bus, go to Romford, or elsewhere, to just see how its all done successfully,
then come back home and put into practice, what works SO well elsewhere.
Its less than 1 hour on a train,
its 1 & half hours on a coach,
its about 1 hour or more in your car, plus you dont drive in circles looking for a place to park when you get there.
I love our town center, but realise just how under performing it is also,
i realise just how so much better it could be with proper reorganizasion.
To be successful, you need shoppers,
to get shoppers you need them to park there,
I just cannot explain it any better... ..............

I think you should read the rules regarding yellow line parking for genuine blue badge holders.
also,
If you re read my post about having the need for many many more parking spaces available, the need for blue badge parking on yellow lines would negate the doing so...
