All we hear is about

R E G E N E R A T I O N,
regeneration this, regeneration that.

LONDONS saviour, the Thames Gateway,
often linked to our more "local" gateway,
the Haven Gateway,
which bequeath`d,   no,
gave us IN-Tend,
Tendring Regeneration LTD,
jobs for the boy`s galore,
BUT,
look behind the happy faces, deeper into the corners,
look deeper and I think you`ll find some worried looking company men at the moment........

The Thames Gateway
(make room for the fanfair of angel blowing trumpeteers)

is now saying it "could" take 40 long hard years before its completed.

http://www.echo-news.co.uk/news/4...ration_could_take_up_to_40_years/

If thats correct, if our own much watered down haven (or was that "heaven" ) gateway has given out jobs for its company employees,
there`ll be drawing pensions before its done also.

Just what WAS said about our growth point and prosperity....lol

“In order to maintain the momentum of a programme as significant as Thames Gateway, there is a need to keep reviewing and refreshing the vision.”

And as for us "poor" people living at the other end of a refreshed vision, in Jaywick, have been told we will get bu&&er all......lol

All in a days work i guess eh.................

I like this one Ivan,

"Communities minister, Shahid Malik, described the recession as a “serious blip”.

He also said Mr Farrell’s plans were not concrete and the Government still hoped to achieve some of its promises within 20 years.

He said: “It depends who you speak to. Some of the longer-term visions are over 75 years."
