Well, it apears not as it seems.
At the last count, jaywicks un adopted roads only accounted for just 22% of all unadopted roads in the Tendring District, with even Frinton having its fair share.
It now seems that legal preciedence is taking place as to the outcomes of the roads in jaywick, so "watch this space" for further information.
In other regions outside Tendring there is so many other communities who are yet to benefit from road adoption, with the Essex County Councils region alone, it has many - many more.
Sunderlands unadopted roads policy is widespread, but it continues to improve its roads as it goes along.
