I estimated more people actually turned out on the days event, and donated money to the carnivals good causes,
than we saw last weekend in rain soaked Clactons one.
(only the total count will tell)
A great day out..

For the many that was at the carnival,
our entry was the Clacton Scooter Collective (clacton scooter club)
our "float" was the destressed looking (on purpose) VW truck that was booming out good solid regae standards that had the crowds rocking, and half a dozen or so scooters, complete with Waltons own rocking reverend Barry on his very nice red & chrome Vespa scoot.
You know, every time i look at our club photo taken at the Naze car park by the Gazette photographer, it makes me smile...
it brings back the feeling of being back in the carnival,
the couple of hours we were all together before we all set of on our snaking journey through waltons town center.
