Only i`d not let little Johny have his chav mobile back.
I`d make him watch as i`d crush it into a nice non-concentric square metal cube, then be fragmented into ferrous and non ferrous scrap metal that goes for recycling to China.
Little Johny could buy his car back then as a moped and washing machine, with a micrwave thrown in aswell..
Oh dear, this will upset someone i suppose.......never mind...lol
On last monday evening i overheard an irate motorcyclist bemoaning that, in his words,
"plastic policemen" P C S O`s were indeed hold sppeding cars liable to a fixed penalty notice fine for exceeding the 20 mph speed limit in the "pedestrianised" part of Waltons Town centre.
Ok the PCSO`s were holding the speed gun, but (in his words) real policemen were issuing tickets..
Now is it just me, or was the posted speed limit posted to be adhered to by drivers / riders who use that part of the road.
More and more 20 mph speed limits are being put in place in built up areas of high pedestrianisation like town centres and outside schools, to STOP speeding vehicles being a danger.
I am both a motorist, a motor cyclist, a sometime cyclist and a pedestrian.
In 20mph limits, the last 2 that i am gives me L O T S more protection from the 1st 2 iam........
The same as everyone else.
If your excited children or grandchildren walk in the 20mph zones whilst shopping or out from school, and run in front of a car, it would be terrible for both the child and the driver at point of impact,
at 30mph the impact would be so - so much worse for all........
