Re: WHAT DID YOU DO TODAY.....THAT MADE YOU SMILE
Today at 6:35am
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just what on earth made me not only smile, but be glad to be alive and living in good old slightly down trodden jaywick today.........
Well its like this..........
I was woken by the golden suns rays beaming there way through my open bedroom window about 5-30 am.............and that early for me matey...........
I let the dogs out, listened to all the birds singing, put the kettle on, and while it was boiling went out to the sea wall to look at the most beutifull of sights...........................
OUR COAST LINE~ THE SEA~ THE VIEWS.........the sailing boats allready out on a flat sea in the golden sun just about making way in little wind.............just how perfict a day do you want it to be.....................all this and i`m in Jaywick.....
So, i`ve had my tea............now going for some toast..............what an amazing morning......

Just like you Ivan looked out over Felixstowe dock and thought what a stunner of a morning.
But the best was last night went over to the edge of the prom and looked at the moon set in the clearest sky, so impressed went home back in two with camera and tele lense. Took seven or eight pics in rather a hurry(on tripod) came home only to find had overexposed the moon, so not much detail there.
Oh well. |

Just what not only made me smile today, but fall about laughing, was a statement from that Councillor of yours, Stephen Mayzes.
We have had to put up with all the hoo har of refusing free items like good working tools like a new lap-top computer, now it appears that in todays gazette he is blowing hot and cold again because he is NOT getting something for free..
Mr mayzes wants free vip tickets for the air show, now giving out free VIP tickets to local councillors who really deserve them is fine by me, but to be in position for just 5 min`s, then demanding VIP tickests is really taking the micky..
I suggest he sits at the back alongside all the good hard working voluntires that have had years of helping people of not only his parrish but all of the borough, and to stop being so bl**dy stupid........
Not having computers then demanding VIP tickests, who are you kidding Stevy boy.......... _________________ In truth we seek,In truth we learn,In Tendering,We get neither.. |

What made me smile this morning were Clacton Police.
Now I am not going to moan about them .
When I was using Lidl car park (but not the shop I hasten to add ),I noticed a police car and two young officers were leaning over a fence.Well the nosey gene came out in me and I wandered across to see what they had found behind a fence.(In this town nothing would surprise me ,thought it was a certain someone waiting to ambush the Walkers delivery lorry )
The young female PC said it was a ferret and they were trying to catch it but the Male PC had already been nipped.Well a kind member of the public went in with the Male PC and between them they caught the offender,(I used to have ferrets as a youngster so watched intently).
According to the female PC they have picked up 4 of them today. So who is releasing these creatures??.
Anyhow is was refreshing to see that the Police did their duty and kept a good humour whilst doing so.Depite getting bitten. They reckoned it made a change from hoofing drunks and yoofs away from where they are a nuisance.
We all had a laugh about it and went on our way......Yup that made me smile but Vicar made me roar with laughter on another post C.R.I.S.P. indeed ......aw go on then ,I'll donate a shilling....... |

The only reason he refuses the laptop is because he brought two with the youth councils money. We saw the machines twice before they disappeared 'miraculously'. _________________ =D |

I am begining to think that these young tory boys really arent suited to being on a council.....HTC is having a few problems with Benny Howlett who is being a bit of a tit.
Though anyone who had anything to do with the Mayzes boys on Carswells site knew what utter twits they are. |

Monday am this bright and sunny morning saw me smiling broadly when a little grey haired fella was telling the road resurfacing teams how they should be doing there job in and along Brooklands in Jaywick.......................
Of course, he was ignored, as per usual, but i suppose he tries........lol...
The latest venture for the saving of jaywick, is to turn a piece of bumpy old grass into a world class green bowls table...........
As if the hooded little and not so little eeediots would leave it alone in the hours of darkness..........i think not.................lol....
Still, the little grey haired old man tries i suppose........ _________________ In truth we seek,In truth we learn,In Tendering,We get neither.. |

As we are having "problems" with our street lights (or not lit lights as it happens) in Jaywick, todays news of £10 million going to research on lights will be most welcome..

Yup, i can do that.
I have a vision.......lol...
Seriously, all that jargon for me started a few years ago when up and coming newly qualified young men were brought into the Co. i worked for, on top management positions, as they were "the vision, the way foreward"
Not to think back, but only foreward........
Well 2 or more lots of them came and went, then the firm folded.... _________________ In truth we seek,In truth we learn,In Tendering,We get neither.. |

Oh c'mon, the pornbot thing is silly. I work as a forum admin for a charity and we have to prune the forum everyday to get rid of the nots. There's no stopping them! I spend over an hour each day verifying and deleting accounts. On average I delete about 100 and verify two or three O_o _________________ =D |

Nikadi i think not...
Would your mum and dad let you loose on a site that had more actual porn and porn videos that was the "bait" to get you to purchase drugs, if you was about 7 years of age..........Niakadi, i think not....
Quite clearly the admin of that site was not working, and had not been working for some time, this had let the site be taken over by the content that ANY person of ANY age could just click onto to be faced with photos of the most explicit porn ever seen........
as a post note, one could look on "another" Clacton site that is breeding slowly in the not nice stakes... _________________ In truth we seek,In truth we learn,In Tendering,We get neither.. |

What is extraordinary is that the police don't go after these sites when they are carrying child porn.
It should be said 'child porn' is an easy way of disguising the fact that it is adults abusing little children. |

People are stupid to think they can leave forum's without admin's working on it and have probably learnt their lesson now. But still, it is pretty stupid, purely because it can be fixed so easily (if only a bit time consuming). Most bots are easily distinguisable if the admin do their jobs properly.
We have Dog-Shampoo Bots on the forum I work at too, which was a new one lol _________________ =D |

| Quite recently I was admining a site and the amount of spammers we got was unbelievable. The site was set so you had to be approved first to post so they couldnt post any of their vile links.....but in the end after trying to delete them we just used to leave them and look for what we thought were real people trying to join. Eventually it got to much so we closed the forum. |
