Anti - environmentalist go mad about this, shame though.

i mean its 18 years old now..... Confused ........

Amazing, as a former Carlton driver I have to say I loved it auto box and all.

Never went over seventy in mine but this Lotus Carlton that would have been something to impress my eldest son, whose opinion of my driving is politely put as "sedate".

amenity, nothing wrong with sedate matey.

I quite often without thinking drive sedately through my community then out to the major roads eslwhere.

Most of the drivers who impatiently drive behind seem to be tourists hell bent on going somewhere while on holiday...

While i get fumed at as an old dodderer on the roads, my Honda although quite old, is speed rated at 140MPH....lol

My drives on the hyway to hell (A 12) are normaly set at 60 MPH on the cruise control, so that its 3.2 liter v6 engine nicely spins at about 2.6 thousend revs per min...

When needed though, its 2 tonnes of motor car out accelerates many others, but the fuel goes even quicker............lol

The little boy racer inside of me still loves all things that go sideways under power,
due to my 14 odd years of banger / stock car / hot rod racing that i finished with some 22 years ago........

My god, was it that long ago.....i thought it would wear of by now.....lol

yep R 30 or R 40 does it still, but,
with modern scoot fully synthetics, most oil injected (but a bit added to the petrol tank) still smells simular to "R"

Believe it or not, Comma Oils produce a top quality fully synthetic, full spec oil in litre bottles thats "only" £7-49.
In my scoot it will last on average 500 miles, but as the required mix ratio is less than normal oils, it should last longer, but as i say its oil injection system is not very well adapted to reducing the mix ratios...

Some of the bigger name brands of fully synth cost double and over, but smell even better... Wink
