Are essex police, policing enough, or are we too legal..Essex cops get lowest share of criminals' cash pot
POLICE in Essex have received the lowest share in the country of cash seized from criminals.
Forces across the UK have shared a pot of £18million of assets taken from crooks between January and March this year.
But Essex is to receive just £3,242 from the Home Office - the lowest out of 43 constabularies to be given money.

OK, we can put funny remarks about this, but in reallity, why is there a BIG problem with our areas police "cashing in" on illegal dealings.
Could it just be that in Tendring, we have a bigger percentage of normal legal residents, that do not normally run drug houses, raid banks, or operate money laundering on a street by street basis.
without going of subject, some of our local "leaders" need a good look at what they are doing with OUR money, maybe we could get some of that reclaimed back too...

Plenty of drug dealers live around these parts just as anywhere else.
I guess the reason Essex police have got so little is because the only answer they could come up with, when government asked what had happened to the 4million quid that had gone astray from speeding fines, was "we are as bewildered as everyone else".
Can you imagine what the police would say if you came out with a line like that when caught speeding?

"we are as bewildered as everyone else".
I think some at TDC have used that when talking of Jaywicks begging bowl treats...
maybe it all being done with fixed penalty fines will make it better.....
or some very richer...ha..ha..ha....(should`nt say that should i)....lol.
