Asda bargainWent to buy a pair of shoes at Asda. Tried on many many pairs at better half's prodding and decided on the pair tried on first after all. Went to pay and hey presto till girl said they were half price.
Went back and sorted out the next most liked pair but alas still full price so bought another of first type again at half price.
Strange business

Amenity, are you sure you never purchased a pair of left shoes at a discount, then went back to get another pair of right shoes with the same discount....uummmmm.

Asda have a suit for only £15 at the moment. I want a girl-version as I don't own one and have job interviews coming up!

Yes I've seen those suits Nikadi and it seems that they are a raving snip, from what you say ladies are treated unfairly and haven't got the same equal opportunity at Asda, could always ask the store manager if and when they will have a ladies suit at a similar price.
You never know?

Although i have not had chance to visit the Asda emporium, i dearly would have liked to purchase another suit.
I only have just the one, and it gets dragged out each time i have to look presentable at council type meetings.
The problem being is size, my size.
most of the "affordable" clothing deals we see are for the slimmer of our residents, but alas i confess as to really being fond of food.
I am good at not smoking, at not drinking (well VERY rarely), but have the habit to nibble...lol...
In my best intentions, i vowed to loose weight this new year, but.............
even sitting for hours at this evil eye is not calory consumimg enough for me...
So, suits,
i really would like another one.....................
anyone got a reel of that super sticky gaffer tape, just enough to keep me quiet for a while....
2 good things will become of this..
1:- i might even loose weight
2:- it would for sure keep me quiet for a while too.............................lol...

The idea of a fit club turning that wasted energy into electricity seems great.
When someone is given community service, on the bike he goes, when someone is caught speeding ditto; any body got other crimes and for how long should they peddle?

My goodness amenity, i`ve just thought of just how much our clean `n green Taj Mahal must use in energy..
If we had a mounted row of bycyler`ators infront of the building, we may be able to waver the 20p admission, if said customers pre-paid `n peddled before they pidd*ed, what good savings could be achieved..
your other ideas of "cyclers for justice" is just as good too.....
a powerfull reminder of the right and wrongs of community behaviour....a modern day stocks indeed...
infringements could be.
littering..
chew - gum`s wrongfull disposal..
pizza and burger type wrappings wrongly disgarded..
blue badge parking enforcement...
those foolish enough to drive into the burmuda triangle (pier ave central) between the hours of 10am till 4pm....is a must on a bycycler`ator, as the vehicle`s extra fuel burnt going back around in another lost circle must be offencieve....

This is a snip from a shipping page. Just look at the profit
“My host, a former denizen of the oil trade, now retired, clucked. ‘You know it is not our kind making all the money on that ship’, he commented. ‘I have a brother in Guangzhou who makes lights for the British market. He sells them for two pounds to Thorn. And Thorn then sell them here for sixty. The brand gets everything.’ Does Ever Blue get everything in container shipping? The logic of the ever expanding liner company is that their suppliers do not get fat. Insuring the Emma Maersk and all that sails with her is scarily prone to catastrophic losses. And yet talk to the hull and cargo underwriters and they will tell you that the rates they get paid for this sort of risk are not exactly luxurious. The effect on the marine market of the loss of the Emma Maersk or one of her sisters will be salutary. Why, the containers alone, given all the reefers, might be worth US$40 million on a single ship.
