Ivan, this site could be a good starting point, I should add that I've been offline for four or five days, changing ISP broadband, so I've only just seen your question.

Count me out then Embarassed

Per capita is a Latin phrase meaning for each head.

It is usually used in the field of statistics to indicate the average per person for any given concern, e.g. income, crime.

Ivan all the ones that i have found so far on the web cover the whole of Tendring, not just Jaywick. - If your still looking then i'll try some more for you?
jollypops

Ivan - I can only get my hands on the 2001 Census which says Jaywick has a population of 4665.
I've also found out the following for Jaywick, (this wasn't taken from 2001.)
Avg Age is 54.
Gender Ratio Female/Male is 1:19
Population in Good Health is 54.1%
Homeownership 32%
Students 1%
Hope this helps! and i'll keep looking if you need anymore.
