Not sure if I am allowed to do this Amenity ,but ,had to comment.
Just had my carpets and upholstery cleaned .I am impressed (a rare occurance for me !!).Local chap with a huge machine (not those silly little Rug Doc tings) .Prompt ,polite ,helpful and Tidy .I am now the owner of a nice ,fragrant carpet .

You all know how hard to please I am and I really feel he has done a super job.I found him in the paper so Thank You Clacton Gazette.I was tinking about getting my OH to do it but ,quite honestly couldn't cope with him getting hot and bad tempered ( your wives will know this feeling)because he would rather be doing something else over the bank Holiday..
So ,support a local Business ,you could end up as happy as I am.

Thanks for that information, Lin. One question: how long did it take for the carpet to be dry enough to walk on?

He ws finished by 1.30 and it was nearly dry then able to walk on it ,now it's completely dry.
As it was an off white carpet I didn't expect it to come up that well ,but it is as good as new so ,in the long run saved bags of money if I had replaced it.
