We have all but lost our market haven't we?
Not many stalls left now.
So will we get a new market by Dovercourt Station as promised? It can't locate there until they do all that masterplan stuff can it? And presumably the money for that is linked to the port being built at Bathside?
Looks like a long wiat for a market.
TDC (might have been Harwich TC?) were awarded a lot of money a year or two back from the EC (I am pretty sure it was EC funding) for this Market Town. Some special fund that was available for supporting the economies in Ancient Market Towns and Harwich got a slice.
So what did they do with it?
Was maniuplating the market into oblivion part of their proposals when bidding for the money?

Wasn't tere some money spent around the end of Victoria Street on Main Road?
Does anyone have any idea?
