It would be interesting to see how many travellers will be accomodated in total .Then compare how much is being spent on tavellers per head to Jaywick per head . Just a thought you know.

Wonder if Gypsy's are being supported so the rest of us feel deprived, after all it fits in with the divide and rule principle.
With the oppressive way that so many things, freedom, have gone from our reach under a New Labour government and ID schemes and our 30,000 Essex children whose DNA information is being held indefinately but who we are told "if they have done nothing wrong then they have nothing to fear".
No wonder I'm becoming more cynical?

Ok, lets look at DNA / ID cards and the like.
If our police forces are sometimes afraid to enter certain traveller sites, how the hell can ID cards or DNA profiling be of any use whatsoever, if certain sites do just as they please.
A few years ago, good friends of ours had their very large HOBY towable careavan towed ofsite by "thieves" with a big 4 X 4 truck.
It was reported to Cla*t*n Police station but not much was done.
It was seen parked up in a travellers site not a million miles from Colchester.
My good friends reported this to the police station in the area where it was stolen, to be told, we will not enter that site to take your property away.
It will be burnt before we could move it..
No one inside that site was charged with the theft of a multi thousend pound caravan..
Id cards / DNA sampling or whatever else you can think of would not have been any good at all.....
