Once again, our councillor for Technical Services [i.e. parking, re-generation of Clacton Centre, roadways etc.] has stated that the Town Centre changes have been well received and appluaded by both Tendring residents and local Town Centre Business, he is even stating that the changes are already creating the benefit of new jobs locally.
Now what Mr Shearing says may be true or it may not be true but we can now all have our own say on what we think of the Clacton Town Centre changes.
Conservatives are putting out a survey asking our views on the Town Centre changes and how they have affected us. They are doing this in conjunction with some local businesses following complaints they have received from shop owners, residents, taxi drivers etc.
Take the time to fill in the survey and return it if you feel that the changes have affected how you treat Clacton Town Centre, get involved in letting your voice be heard.

Pepsi - where can I get a survey from?
pepsi
Mojo I think you will find that most of the shops in Clacton will soon be stocking these survey forms, including the likes of Boots the Chemist - and that is a surprise.
I know I went into the pet food shop in High Street today to buy some fish food and I asked the staff if they would be stocking the survey forms, their response was "Yes we will, we are just waiting for some to be provided at the moment".
I think this has really started because the councillor who has had most involvement in the Town Centre changes keeps insisting on radio, TV and local media that traders and residents are very happy with these changes. No one knows quite where he has formed that opinion from so people's views are being requested to see if that really is the truth or not.
