Not just Jaywick, but all areas subject to floodIts far too big to complete,but those who feel its "just Jaywick" at risk had better think again. For up to date details of YOUR areas, i suggest you go to the Environment Agency`s web site. Tidal Flood Sirens Test - Tuesday 8th September 2009
Essex County Council is responsibile for the County's tidal flood warning sirens. In order to ensure that the sirens operate effectively, they are tested every year. The 2009 test will take place on Tuesday 8th September between 11.00am and 11.15am, and will last for four minutes. More details will appear in the local media in the week leading to the test.
