Its a feel good factor that you get when local firms provide the service you want, at the price that`s acceptable Amenity.

I should add neither myself or the neighbour has any connection with this firm.
It's so nice to be able to recommend a good firm and local is a bonus. |

A simular thing happend last week when a family member wanted his paths and drives and rear patio block paved, it also meant building a complete new front brick wall of artistic quality, and erecting a high side fence adjacent to his driveway.
All this work also had to include new drains and block paved sewer covers, and as the work had to need much digging out of the old paths and drives, it was found that due to repair work previously, the old drives hight had mostly covered the bungalows low wall mounted ventilation bricks.. All this work was not cheap, but was an exceptional quality of workmanship. (i might also add that most of the builders were of eastern european nationality too!) I will get the local companies name soon as Amenity. |

For some strange reason your post did not show up as unread so I have only just read it Ivan, I'll blame it on the computer Ha! Ha!
Another good firm quite local really in Manningtree on the left corner just as you turn in for the Co-op Fiveways branch. Farm shop, special offer at the moment half price spuds, truly half price. If you like Maris Peers (great chips and roast) £1.50 per bag. Again I have no connection with this firm except I eat their potatoes. They have quite a few tons to get rid of, so while stocks last. |
