Recycling BinsA few weeks back our block of flats - despite us all having our own green recycling boxes - had seven TDC wheelybins for recycling only put just inside the perimeter fence. We all had a notice sent to us to say we could use these instead of our own boxes - though not mandatory. They are usually about half-full by collection day.
Getting any more information out of the Warden has come to a dead end.
Today I was taking a walk and down a public footpath off Jaywick Lane I found four of these bins. They were all clustered together for company and accessible over muddy grass. One was nearly full but the others had hardly anything in.
Has anyone else come across these seemingly random placed bins?
Can we expect them to start multiplying like a virus and will we soon be taken over by them?
Don't get me wrong; I'm all for recycling and the fact that they ARE being used is good.
