SHOCK--HORROR--the scooterat`e invade Harwich / DovercourtThe "invasion" of the scooter elite, all 25 scoots, invaded the "cup of coffee" in Dovercourt High Street, for beakfast about 11am today.....
It is SO comfortable inside, more so after a cool ride through the lanes from Clacton.
"cool" as in it was cool, not in as we looked cool (ok, some of us did..lol.)
Nice food was served, nice people run it, nice place too....
We had our usual banter about life in general, then outside for some photos, then some of us went along to Halfpenny Pier for a sit outside, cup of more tea, lots of banter, then back through the lanes back home again....
The sun was sort of out, but it was chilly.....but it is February after all..
Why do we do it, some may ask......
A:- why not
B:- its somthing to do
C:- its the spirit of it all, just a great laugh.
I had my picture took on another Clacton.S.Club. bike, a "cut down" one.
This picture will go alongside one of me on a "cut down" one when i was 16years of age.
I am now nearly 60....(free bus pass to Frinton..lol.)
+++++ 16 to 60 years, not all on scooters, but the thread was there++++

Shock - horror..
scooterist invade Shotley Marina yesterday (sunday) for brillient breakfast..
Clacton scoots met Colchester scoots, then Manningtree scoots @ station, then through the lanes to Shotley..
pre arranged full cooked breakfasts and tea / coffee, lots of leg pulling, then return via Walton on the Naze where we stopped for more tea / coffee and spent a few quid in some of the shops, wet weather gear on for the ride home to Clacton..
All in all, about 90 miles there and back...was a great day out, but still a bit cold.
