Went into our Town centre today for a walk around the shops.
It was quite busy today too.
Parking was a bit hide and seek, but ok for me.
It was like a magnet that drew me & the mrs towards JD`s pie & mash shop..
we managed to get in the door and even got a small table, i was sent to order from "pretty blue eyes" at the counter.
in front of me was a bloke i thought i knew, you know how it is when you see someone you remember from somewhere.?.?.?
Sitting down eating my good old pie `n mash, i looked over again at the bloke i thought i knew, then the penny dropped...
For sure it was the bloke who played Pete Beal in Eastenders.
I am ashamed that i forgot his name, so left him in peace and quiet to eat his pie `n mash too..
In between all this, 3 members of our scoot club walked in to have dinner too, so it got a bit noisey at times, what with football and all that...
SO< it was a good day in Town for us all in all.(i got my fav food)
JD & Mrs are scoot club members too so it was OK then....
Its a funny old world, so someone once said......lol...
mojo

I'm sure he would have been pleased to talk to you I met him some years ago at a school fete and he was very chatty and sociable. I'm pleased to say that he didn't call me "Treacle" once.
