Went to meet "the Judges" tonight, in Burrs Hall, I was invited to come along to "meet the Judges"
2 judges infact, who serve on the bench in Colchester and Harwich.
It was pre arranged as a Neighbourhood Watch meeting for that area.
The 2 judges were excellent in the way they gave us an insighte to their work, their sentances, and the reasons why.
I / we were also asked if we would also like to become a magistrate,
the process, the interviews & training, also the age groups who qualify to be so.
It WAS a very good evening.
Will try to get the same thing arranged for another same thing in Golf Green.
