WHY.........WHY NOT............
Ok, yesterday i was sitting in clacton hospital, and doing what i do most, i talk, i talk to people.....i talk a lot....
The gentleman sitting waiting his turn was from Walton, on the Naze as it happens.
We talked about how the beaches of Holland have been placed "off-limits" to residents and tourists alike..
We talked on how worried he was about his home, as his home for many years in the Naze is getting nearer by the day, to the cliffs edge, and ultimately, the sea..
This nice kind elderly gentleman was a worried man..
I felt sorry for him, and for his future..
God willing, this kind man has many years left on this, our wonderfull earth...
I am not so sure about his home though...
We had some things in common, while sitting in Clacton Hospital, health issues were one of them, the threat of losing our homes was another...
This kind gent lived in the Naze, with all its splender, myself, well, not so dangerous as the crumbling cliffs, but in another crumbling area...
Jaywick, brooklands and the threat of regeneration, the losing of my home, not to the sea, but to developers...........
Two old men, different lives.....
One common bond.........
The threat of losing your homes..............
Doeas make you sit and think.........
