Do anyone know others that use a CPAP machine,
or have problems adjusting to its use.
or, have used just a nose mask at nights,
or, is a full mask better.?.

I know its abit like 20 questions, but, hey,
thats what were here for... Wink

Sorry I was meant to reply to this ages ago.  I had this about 10 years ago, because of my age (early 20's) they said the mask would not be good for my bedroom appearance!!  So i had the throat op at Colchester Hospital, it wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be and all went well.  So if your able to have the op then i would suggest to go for it.

With regards to the CPAP Machine it does take along while to get used to it and would say that a full mask is better.

Thanks for that J - P`s,
yes, i am still fighting the nose mask.. Shocked
even after a month or more.
re:- hospital ops, i cannot/or they will not/ give me sedation for ops of any sort now... Confused
Agism, is not in my favor i`m afraid, as i have my free bus pass, but apnea was only diagnosed by a consultant at another of my london hospitals, due to my other ongoing medical thingy`s..

As you say, when masked up, you`ll never win a talant show on looks eh! Laughing
