Gary Who????????? Ivan ,back to the naughty corner until you can behave.
I would have thought that' Leader of the Pack' would have been more appropriate(now have I dropped myself in it or was he a Leather jacketted biker not a Mod like Ivan the Terrible of the Gold Coast).

Will have to put my mind to finding a good , rousing anthem to call The Retreat to Higher Ground Question Question

Question Question
...Was looking on a site the other day for a nice leather jacket, and as it happens found one that does "all" sort of clothing - inner and outer garments too ! !.. Embarassed lol... Was out on me scoot yesterday, had to go to a place next to the leisure centre for a chat to our nice area wardens administrater.. had chat, came out to go into town centre, got fed up with traffic at a standstill going to road junction of Station one way thingy, so weaved in and out of stationary traffic, got all the car drivers annoyed coz them are stupid enough to sit like dummies in rush hour traffic chaos and they should be like most modern european drivers and have a family scoot to beat the traffic chaos, got fed up with mums on shool runs who just hate being passed by nutty old scoot riding bods, and they on purpose try and stop you getting through dumbwitted car drivindummies, so gave up and went home along the coast road smilling to myself on what a loverly day it was, and i cannot wait for the start of really nice warm weather to go out on me scoot more oftain..(mad--you bet..lol..) as its now 5-15 and i`m awake, been awake for hours, coz i fell asleep watching boring T.V. (not that joke again..ll) about 9-30 ish last night...I do it every time, get into bed, lots of pillows to lean on, under the duvit (cant spell duvet).. get nice an warm, telly going on and on, eyes getting sleepy, wake up 3-15 am---`ish, have a cup of tea, and a nice slimming sandwich of tesco cooked chicken/ fancy another...(sandwich you naughty girl)... turn on this magnet tingy--- and the magic time machine takes you to a place where the clocks all jump foreward..(after being on an MP`s site an getting on me soap box again).... oooohhhh what would you do with me LIN.....lol....

Hi Ivan .I read your post on the gagging site and am left wondering what on earth has happened.
Well ,if they don't need you ,there is always the fast looming local elections Wink but I am not sure if they will be able to cope with someone who stands up for what is right and speaks the truth from behind an OPEN door.
I hope you are still going to let us know what is going on in your neck of the woods as the folks of Clacton only hear what ' THEY' want us to hear.

Hello to Lin and Ivan.
Is this the dark Side? I'm fed up of logging into 'the other one' and finding no-one has contributed.
It all seemed to go downhill when there was some rather nasty postings and then it now takes AGES for validation.

Ivan, read your recent postings on the other site - what on earth happened? You seemed to do a lot for Jaywick. Saw your piccie in the paper.

Its a funny old world, as Victor Meldue said......1:- "the dark side" - is also the name of No. 1 sons scooter club (apart from the Clacton Scooter Club)... So i grin when i see it...ha..ha..ha..(dont even ask why the rapid VW has 666 on it).. still grinning as 1 sons scoot has "the devil made me do it" on his number plate....not to be outdone, i`m getting.."the voices made me do it..lol.." on my scoot number plate....1 sons not getting one over me mate....lol....AND BEFORE YOU ASK...its nothing to do with "strange" worship either....lol....it`s just we are "townies" now they are "strange" folk....lol.....anyway, now i have lost the plot so to speak...2:- it got to a point that me, secretery-spokesperson, of the F.O.B`s and the Chair of the F.O.B`s got to a point that we could not see the same things that needed doing or to be done.......we had constant rows, it was not fun no more, it became a drudge, a drudge that did not need me to be doing it.....Our aims were, and are, going in different ways, so like most things, someone has to give in and say, enough is enough...There other ways to express this and i chose the other way, so i cannot repeat it even on here...........lol..........I am still on other boards and panels, so will see just where it all goes........

It's all a little odd. The post I did the other day didn't appear to have been accepted when I clicked on 'submit'. Can't remember the exact wording but I thought "Oh well, I'm not going to write it all again at the moment" - and in any case I couldn't quite remember all I said.........

So today, I logon and - lo and behold - there it is!
Good job I didn't write it again or else you'd be wondering if you had a nutter on this site.
(well, I can be a bit of a nutter at times but I try and keep that side of me under control....
....I need all the friends I can get!!!!!)

Hi Mojo
You probably got the 'de bug' mode...it does that on occasions ,we tend to ignore it and if someones posts come out twice ,,,well ,what the hell none of us are perfect Wink
I must admit I went off the other site when a certain young man took it upon himself to delete posts that did not suit him and was offensive to others ,I do go there now and then ,but really have nothing to say as it all seems to take soooooo loooong to validate.
Oh and Ivan ,all the flashy tings went back to wherever they go when they have stopped patrolling ,hey ,a bit of excitement on a Sat night.(long story Mojo but quickly , we had a kerfuffle outside my house on Sat whilst I was sending Ivan the terrible a PM ,NOTHING TO DO WITH ME .....HONEST).
Now I must put my thinking hat on and come up with some ideas for posts .....come on Ivan ,you have some time on your hands now ....whose cage shall we rattle this week.?????????.

I know it's not for this thread but could move it later.

Should we not propose that the Weeley TDC site be put to better use if the building is demolished and starter flats are built there instead?

How about a proper museum and storage facilities for Local History???The upstairs in Clacton Library is a bit cramped and the WHOLE of the Tendring area could be covered.
My 10 year old calls Clacton 'Flaton' as all that seems to be built is yet more flats.
My bet is it will not be used to benefit the populace of this area as the land is worth more (in the short term)by selling it off like they propose to do with Clay Hall and spend the money on some stupid scheme.

I had put this post up in some sort of rebellion against TDC's taking of our open spaces, flats I don't want for our young people, give them proper places to bring children up within.

I had thought this proposal would get a reaction from our councillors make them ask, why would someone get rid of our building?

.....The trouble is, that soo many bods at various offices within T D C`s realm, must be running around like headless chickens, just of late, it MUST reasemble the cull at the Bernard Mathews plant, after the recent outbreak of mad councillors disease, when the TDC 5 were all confermed cases.........

I'm surprised that they haven't installed disenfectant dips at the entrance of all council buildings ,after all WE don't want their infection ,do you think they all have the' buildus flatitus 'variant of Mad Councillor Disease????

Hey , how about having' Councillor Dips' installed instead of the magic fountain of prosperity? I reckon that would bring in more 'nose-baggers' for a look .
Seriously though ,I am fed up with the amount of housing they cam cram onto one small plot.No wonder kids are bored ,fed-up ,unhealthy amd cheesed off ,no gardens with these flats ,oh yes there are spaces made for parking your car ,but no provision for the children to play ,what is this world coming to when cars have more attention focused on their needs than our children.
For goodness sake ,if they are going to build ,make sure there is a space for the littler members of society.
I bet the flats they have in mind will get passed for planning even though they will be a blot on the landscape .Then the precident will be set .....look out Weeley you will soon be joined to Little Clacton ,which itself is under threat of encroachment from Clacton.
Oooooh Lin's off on one.......

Oooooh Lin`s off on one......Go on girly-go for it....lol...i recon the Top brass are brassed of just now, but, try, flatulence....it`s a condition you get from being BIG headed, small minded, disrespectful of your fellow citizens, and with an over-riding enthusiasm to build tall objects, that nobody wants, and makes you talk a lot of hot air............phheeeeewwwwwww

My Pet Hate is FLATS!!!!!!!!!
Ok ,if the need to build them is so great ,how about slightly smaller blocks of 4 flats in each block ,each with a little garden .Not these monstrosities that seem to be springing up everywhere.
Look at Oxford Road ,Huge great lumps of brickbuilding on a mixed commercial and residential area ,speed track of a road and they build these eyesores with front doors leading straight onto the road .
Go down the High Street ,where the Stranwell dance club was .....another crammed in block of flats ,Coppins Road ..another lot to be built on the old Church Hall ,Canarvan Road near the car park ,yet another unsightly block.....are houses being built anymore???it all seems to be either flats or bungalows with no gardens and little privacy.
I know of one such area where they built the bungalows so close together that only one neighbour can open their windows at a time as the windows are so close to each other.
Every large town I visit seems to have a central park for residents ....where is ours? I for one don't want to sit by a fountain full of last night excesses and eat my picnic on a summers day ,I'd like a park ,you know the sort ,with bushes and trees and space for the little ones to run and the older ones to watch the world go by in peaceful surroundings ...oh and somewhere to get a cuppa (most important that one)......

Re the Weeley TDC site. Is this the place where planning etc takes place?
I've only ever been once and now I don't have a car I'm not likely to be in that area...
Anyway, if it is that place, then I think I remember it as a rather attractive building (from the outside anyway). Why demolish it? Can't it be converted to something by at least keeping the exterior?
If it has to be flats, then the Colchester Institute site was changed to flats by retaining the outside. I used to do some work there so I know it was all offices etc - like the Weeley site.

Sorry to change the subject for a moment ,but had to say Thank You to Ivan for making me laugh on the' Lighter side'.
I have had a rubbish day and just got in crackered from work and found his latest posting over there.
Ivan ,you are a Baaaaad boy but as this IS technically your 'naughty corner ' ,there is nothing I can do .....except giggle.....giggle ....giggle ......is that an echo????? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Good idea about re-using existing building at Weeley ,I thought they did a good job with converting the Middlesex Hospital and the Maternity Home ,at the end of the day it could prove the more acceptable option.
I see in the Gazette that even Colchester has a glut of flats ...and are we heading the same way as most people would prefer a house and a bit of space.

My dearest young Lin, as i`m not quite sure of the reason of your crackerd self, i`m sure there is someone who thanks their lucky stars you were there anyway. Today has been a bit strange for me, i was awake about 5am again = not good= spent hours on the magic square eye, looking for info on matters that "surround" me..... I went back to bed for an hour, but 2 white russell`s were even more demanding of me, not to mention piddle the cat (dont ask--lol..)..When all 3 are awake and want feeding, we have a race track going on in and around the place... The cat jumps high up, the dogs try, the dogs fail, the dogs bark, piddle sit`s cleaning herself, saying, you dont worry me, and bleary eyed `ole me has to call truce on it all, letting the dogs out, feed the cat, make a cuppa, find me medication, try to look through bleary eyes, drop the glass of water, the cat eyes the water as if its fire and runs off, the dogs bark more, i turn the evil square eye back on and look for your last post to make my day (make me laugh really..lol..)....I, to, like you, used to work dum stupid hours, and get home just as crackered, even had 2 jobs in the winter months, but still ended up being "retired" at 55....was the end of the world when it happened, but sometimes there is a reason for things in life, that happen, to happen ! !.....Now, i would not change it for the world........The reasoning... if i was somewhere else, i would not be on here making you laugh........ha ha ha....making you laugh.......ha ha ha .....lol...(echo)
