We like the Tower cafe.
On a nice day, its a nice ride out for a cup of tea there... _________________ In truth we seek,In truth we learn,In Tendering,We get neither.. |

My mother-in-law particularly likes Cliff Parade. About once a month in Summer I take her there and she sits on a bench looking out at the sea, supervising the big ships going to and from Harwich and Felixstowe.
I leave her there and walk along the sea wall to the Tower, then along the beach to the end of the cliffs and back through the woods on the clifftop.
If she has behaved herself and if no-one has stolen her in my absence we stop somwhere for a cup of tea on the way home.
She always says, "I've had such a lovely day today."
I hope I am as easily pleased when I get to her age. _________________ It's only kinky the first time you do it. |

Any chance of adopting your wife Vicar .
I quite fancy the idea of being driven to Walton (I like Walton ,it's just like Clacton was in the 70's) and sat quietly on a sea view bench for a couple of hours just watching the world go by in peace .
Ooops ,I think I might be getting old ,just wanting a nice drive ,a sit down and a cup of tea on the way home.
If I can't adopt your wife ,then I will have to have stern words with my sons -in-law about neglecting me. |

Stern word indeed my dear Lin, i dont belive it....lol
Today just 4 of us went on a scoot ride out to the cafe at the naze,
we had coffee / tea and sat and chatted and i done what i always do and chatted to all and sundry.
One nice couple told us of their exploits in the early `60`s on a lambretta....
On the way back we stopped at the Town tea hut known as central kiosk, had more tea and plate of chips too.
We then had a walk about in Town looking in shops, the main stop was the army cammo shop, where i fell in love with proper scoot cammo t shirts, trouses and brillient army green flight jackets with sew on badges, but all to fit my grandaughter`s size....(grandad will have to buy it)...lol
A few more shops were look in aswell...
Do you know i thought to my self, it looks quite nice now in Walton.
Since its make over, its come a long way.... _________________ In truth we seek,In truth we learn,In Tendering,We get neither.. |
