Next Wednesday March 12th at 2150 on BBC2 there is a programme called Wonderland.
It is all about Frinton and the possibilty of The Gates being replaced.
It's called "The Curious World of Frinton-on-Sea".

Well, I watched the programme this morning. (taped it last night as I have this habit of falling asleep whilst watching television after 9pm. Have yet to decide if this is because I'm tired or 'cos the programme is boring)
However, thought, unless you were in the know, that no-one would have much idea about The Gates problem......
Loved the lady standing there waiting for her visitor to arrive and pointing out the Doc's Surgery several times. She seemed to be the only 'natural' person on the programme.
I can't imagine that it's done a lot for the Frinton image.
At least there wasn't any wigs......... |
