Well Ivan, I got a nice little advert for the Leisure Centre Open Day today in the post.
Now, the estimated population of Clacton is 53,000 and roughly 64% of those are between the ages of 10 and 64 years of age, a total of around 33,900 people, the most likely age range that might be inclined to use these super new facilities.
So, at a cost of 24p per little posted advert, if this was sent to all of us in this age range, we now have over £8,000 being spent to sell us this dead horse.
Presumably, it was considered a better idea to spend this money on postage rather than just deliver the little adverts by hand along with the Clacton & District Weekly News freebie paper. |
