I see the planners are recommending acceptance for the application to turn the Woolwich Building into a Travel Lodge.
Despite the fact that it fails on several Planning Guidelines, they claim it will increase tourism and employment in Clacton
Whoooosh, there goes another pig.

And all the extra car parking spaces on the opposite of the road will go woosh also, if you belive in the new Town centre "vision"...
