For those that have a fond memory of a bus, and those that like bus type tings, today a man and a boy went to deepest Norfolk to purchase not a bus, but a VW truck..
as per norm, daddy went as back up driver (1 vehicle 1 way-2 on the return)
boy`s truck was a oh so cheap deal from a magical bus owner (and scoot too)
but said little trucker`s truck went sick in Norwich`s tesco`s car park, so little trucker`s dad had to go against his newly found principles of not getting his hands dirty anymore, and put his healing hands on said VW truck`s engine until it breathed SO much joy into little trucker himself..
AH BLESS.....lol.

Dad and little trucker then drove all the way home, aided by a very nice sounding lady who told the little trucker to turn left in 50 / 40 / 30 / 20 metres NOW.....then go on for another 17.5 miles.....

How did the nice sounding lady just know where the pair of silly truckers were......
Magical mysteries and sights of the stars indeed....
(ok, satnav to you`n me then)......lol...

today, in the afternoon sun, i had occasion to drive ones self in search of sustanance....poor old selfs local hippy chippy was the chinky shutty, so not to wither away before the eyes of the world (or even west clacton) i took it upon myself to venture where no man or woman (well local ones) venture on a

I ventured into the demonic zone of death (or close by)........

YES, the new Town square, AND its gushing fountains..........

As i carefully walked sideways, to try and not be noticed by the great unwashed, now being washed, by the gushing gurgling franticaly foaming
fountain of yoof, i made my way under cover to the only decent chipshop open after 2pm..

The alien invasion was in full sounding swing, kids screaming as mums carried soap dodging little ones through the valley of death (well not quite death, but wet water so shocking to the little aliens)
All this was unfolding as said undercover roaming reporter stood impassionately inside the safe haven of said chippy looking out into the outside world.

When me cooked roe was ready, i said thankyou and left.....ha..ha..ha..

I read ,with interest ,about a YouTube video about Clacton.Had to go have a look and found myself laughing like a drain at it.

If you go to YouTube and put in mcdonaldsmainmen you should find it .Haven't got the proper adress so bear with me.

And Ivan ,that is NOT my little silver car just so you know ,but wouldn't mind those speakers ....I could get my own back by driving VERY slowly around Clacton town centre on a Friday night playing Tom Jones at full tilt ..... hmmm ,now where did I put that Doolies record??????? Wink

you want BIG speakers, we got BIG speakers (and its not me either)..

We, from the soverienty of further west, than west clacton, have entered Waltons very own carnival this year.. Cool

our float will be the little truckers truck, followed by as many we can muster, scoots, following mainly 60`s to 90`s musical pop sounds that had them guys and chicks swinging in the isle of your local dance hall......
Little trucker has some disco gear he uses for club events, and is known to spin a mean vinyl disc (actually its all on cd or stored by the thousend on hard drive)
Failing that, a small generator hooked up to future son in laws disco proper gear has an only..?? 1,000 watt output to go and say..hellooooo were here...lol...
p.s. will also be at Waltons classic car show too.
we hope to yet again show scoots, little truck, and even my "little" baby Honda..(3.2 litres of all singing an dancing leathered luxury)..and thats only my trooooosers.......... Laughing
