The R.S.P.B's Big Garden Birdwatch takes place this weekend 24-25 Jan '09.
Last year, over 400,000 people took part.
All you have to do is record the highest number of each species you see at any one time in your garden or local park for 1 hour on either day.
You can download a counting sheet from the R.S.P.B's web site. Or go to
www.garden-birds.co.uk
Happy counting ,bet I get more seagulls than anything else ,though we do have a little 'flock' of blue tits that visit us daily too.

The most (to me) amazing sight.

A small flock of birds made up of approximately 10 Goldfinches 8 Greenfinches 4 Chaffinches several Blue-tits a stunning Thrush and the ubiquitous pigeon.

All washing in the puddles and scaring each other the brilliant sunlight showing their colours.
