Jaywick Clacton Partnership?
Now theres a strange concept, unless you mean the one where Jaywick is allocated grant money that mysteriously ends up being spent in Clacton.
Like I've said elsewhere The Magic Circle strikes again.
Mr Allen and his magic Circle cronies keep telling us how much money has been won by them and spent in Jaywick, ignoring Sea Defences as that is outside their purview. But the only tangible sign is the road that was built to by pass Brooklands, and the famous Community Resource centre, built in lieu of proper drainage and lighting.
Ask anyone who lives there and they'll tell you theres been little indication of any money being spent there. |

Daveb,
Before they built our new hospital whoops, clinic, now known and refferred to in the press as a white elephant "they" said they did not have enough money for the maintenance of our old hospital, this hospital was owned at one time by the people of this town and given in good faith to the NHS to maintain which "they" promised to do.
But, they have found the money about £1,300000 per year to rent.
In the little minds of the planners and schemers who are behind the Jaywickian history they can see mileage in letting water come through the roof and then "they" can call on the economic argument to support their case for demolition and regeneration.
I should add that this is my own cynical hypothesis for Jaywick. |

Not just your view believe me. After decades of broken promises by succesive Councils, County Councils and all above, the general view of the whole apparatus is cynical here. |
